Our Journey
In 2016, while running their own sourcing agency in Ecuador and China, Inspectorio’s co-founders – Carlos Moncayo, Fernando Moncayo, Luis Moncayo, and David Klein – experienced first-hand the inefficiencies and manual nature of purchase order quality processes.
After delays in receiving inspection reports, slow communication with suppliers abroad, defective products, and a large cost incurred in third-party inspections, they decided to build a digital solution to streamline the inspections of goods globally, creating a more efficient and collaborative process. This idea would become Inspectorio.
Today, Inspectorio has grown from a quality assurance solution to a supply chain management platform that helps brands, retailers, suppliers, and manufacturers all over the world manage their production chain operations, with a focus on quality, responsible sourcing, production management, traceability, and supplier relationship management.
